This Website / blog is still being built and and not complete and that´s why many of the pages are not published yet, but I hope it will be done in another half a year or so. Anyway you are welcome to ask questions, and / or to comment the pages I have published so far and I am thankful for tips about matriarchies or anything else according to these vast new paradigm of research which also could be delineated as The Critical Theory of Patriarchy.
Please publish a newsletter. i would love to follow your activities. I am currently planning a Women;s Foundation in Athens Greece, along these lines. I would love to collaborate.
Dear Irene!
I am so ashamed of not having discovered your message until now! I have been so buisy with helping women in my own country the last half of the year that I have neglected my work with this Homepage, and built up others instead about womens rights and how the neoliberal world-economy now destroys our Swedish welfare-systems and undermine womens as well as childrens rights and engagement in society.
I am so happy to recieve this response from you! And yes perhaps we might build up some kind of international resistance movement together based on the knowledge in the new paradigm of Modern Matriarchal studies. I would just love that!
So please write to me and give a report on how you are getting along with your project. My best greetings!Helheta / Gunilla https://www.facebook.com/gunilla.madegard
Dr Heide Göttner-Abendroth,
I hear you through the oceans of time and the loud din of men shouting and shaking their spears . It was your work on Medusa that led me here. I too am delving deep into her body of imagery and finding wonders. I am a person of Native American heritage. My people were Matrilineal. I was taught I had a voice even as a small child. I had a say with my great-grandmother and my father. Imagine my surprise when in the world I was told otherwise. Imagine my sadness. I am not a child anymore. I am a triple- woman. I am unmasked. The Goddess and the Lover God’s voices will be heard again. The heavy reigns must be taken up, The wise woman must give counsel. Her words must guide the actions of men. Her third eye must shine the way in the darkness, or we will be doomed. Thank you for choosing to speak up and tell the truth.
Dear Candice!
Oh holy Goddess, I am so ashamed of not having discovered your message until now! I have been sp buisy with helping womenin my own country the last half of the year that I have neglected my work with this Homepage, and built up others instead about womens rights and how the neoliberal world-economy now destroys our Swedish welfare-systems and undermine womens as well as childrens rights and engagement in society. I am so happy to recieve this response from you so far away from another part of the world! But I am not Heide Göttner Abendroth – she is my teacher. My name is Gunilla Madegård and I am living in Sweden together with my partner from a matrilineal group in West-Africa; Serer-Woloff. This what you are telling me from your upbringing in a matrilinear society is so interesting, and I would just love to get in contact with you for you to tell me more about it. You can either contact me on my Facebookpage, or my e-mailadress: befarmoin@hotmail.com. I really hope to hear more from you and the culture you belong to in South-America. I have read a lot about them in HGA:s book “Matriarchal Societies, Studies on Indigenous Cultures Across the Globe” but was interrupted by my engagements to help mothers and their cildren, when I was to continue the work with my presentation of these societies from the American kontinent. My best greetings! Gunilla
Dear Dr. Heide Goettner-Abendroth and all the other scholars
I couldn’t connect you by email or by FB because of the CGW,
But as a common reader, I’ve been truly impressed by your work on Matriarchal Studies.
Can I translate the Paper: Modern Matriarchal Studies. Definitions, Scope and Topicality into Chinese and post on social media(Weibo)?
It’s for letting more people know about the modern matriarchy studies, and to communicate and study with those who are really intrested in.
I couldn’t connect you by email or by FB,because of the CGW,
Thank your so much for your outstanding works!
Hello my name is Kareem. I’ve recently did an African ancestry DNA test and found out that my father’s lineage comes from the Akan people of Ghana, Africa. As I was researching, I came across your study of the Akan people. There’s a photo of a male tribal leader surrounded by other men on your page who resembles my father people. I would like to know when and where this photo was taken?
